Wax Worm

Here we will be tying a fly called Wax Worm! I saw this fly on a Facebook post in a group few months ago and decided to give it a try for fishing here in Iceland. I caught already few on this fly and hopefully more fish will bite it in the very future. The fly is imitating a small white worm and seem to work out very well. I've caught both brown trout and Arctic char on this fly. It's a simple and quick pattern to tie and totally worth keeping a few in your box when you go fishing.

… I have a small favor to ask.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
