SloMo Shrimp Salmon

SloMo Shrimp is a shrimp fly that is perfect for coast and fjord flyfishing, and with its foam back has a unique property to hang weightlessly in the water, without sinking or floating on top. Here you get a fly that is suspending and can be fished in slow motion... The fly is still lightly weighted on the underside, which makes the fly always go perfectly in the water. We have once again had the skilled fly fisherman and fly tyer Jesper Lindquist Andersen behind the tying vise to demonstrate the tying of the SloMo Shrimp. Jesper says about the fly: "I fish this fly especially autumn and spring over the shallow water here in Scandinavia, and have the experience that my shrimp flies with foam backs that are suspending (stay in the same place in the water column at stops in intake) just make a significant difference in my fishing, especially the days when there are fish on the site, but which can be tricky."
