A Gift from the Sky

A few highlights from a trip to Palometa Club in Ascension Bay, Yucatan, Mexico from late March 2014, during the countdown to the 1000th permit landed on fly since the Lodge opened. Special Thanks to: Paul Puckett (Flood Tide Co.) for hosting the trip and with help filming, anyone who picked up a camera and helped capture the moment when things heated up (other anglers & guides included), and to Joe Seelig for submitting his footage and a big congrats on catching #1000 a couple days after we left. Dick and Kaye Cameron are very hospitable lodge hosts and Tailwaters Fly Fishing will handle all the preparation to get you there and back. If you want to target permit on fly, this is the place to do it! Looking forward to the next trip and hope to see you there. More footage to be edited and released in the fall, stay tuned!

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
