Ancient Chattan Streamer Fly Pattern Recipe
Hook: Edgar Sealey & Sons 1762.B #2/0 7xl
Thread: Black 8/0
Body: Silver flat tinsel
Belly: Yellow then lavender then white bucktail (sparse)
Throat: Purple then white hackle fibers
Under-wing: 4 to 6 peacock herls
Wing: Yellow hackle flanked by Silver Dr. blue hackle flanked by Badger dyed red hackle
Eye: Jungle cock nail
Head: Black

Larry has been tying a series of streamers based on tartans. (See Scott Murdock's Tartan Series also). The colors of the tartan appealed to him and so the fly was conceived. The clan was formed a confederation composed of the several clans. We will be showing more of Larry's Tartan Series streamers throughout the year.Sections:
