Hook: Partridge CS15
Thread: White
Tag: Silver flat tinsel
Tail: Red hackle fibers
Body: Red floss
Rib: Flat silver tinsel
Belly: Peacock herl then white bucktail
Throat: Red hackle fibers
Wing: 4 dun hackles
Shoulder: Jungle cock body feather
Eye: Jungle cock nail
Head: Red with black band
Notes: Most notably about the Greyhound was the length it was tied traditionally. Original samples are often seen on hooks up to 12xl. Even for streamer tyers, these are long hooks. Another point to mention on the streamer is that the head was finished opposite of Carrie's usual head style. The head is tied with a red base with a black band in the center. I also noted that the patterns was sometimes written as Gray Hound rather than the often seen Greyhound.

Long story longer
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
