#69-2013 Medicine Streamer - Jim Bennett #69-2013 Medicine Streamer - Jim Bennett

Tied by: Jim Bennett
Originated by: Hugh Falkus

Hook: Mustad L-87-3665A #2
Thread: Black 8/0
Body: Silver flat tinsel
Throat: Blue schlappen fibers
Wing: Pearl crystal flash under black arctic fox flanked by thin grizzly saddle hackle
Eye: 2mm silver holographic
Head: Black

Notes: Jim created his Medicine Streamer based on Hugh Falkus' famous sea trout and salmon fly. The original pattern features a dark wing made of bronze mallard flank and a red head. The fox wing on Jim's streamer version will swim beautifully accented by the fine barred grizzly and flash. Something dark and simple to keep in your streamer box.

Nice job there Jim. This one looks like a real fish getter. I'll have to give this one a try.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
