Originated by: Barry Phillips

Hook: Gaelic Supreme Mike Martinek Rangeley Streamer hook
Thread: White 70 denier
Tail: Golden pheasant crest
Body: Brown chenille
Ribbing: Silver holographic flat tinsel
Belly: White polar bear
Throat: White schlappen fibers
Underwing: Peacock herl then green bucktail then orange bucktail
Wing: 2 light dun hackles flanked by olive hackle
Shoulder: Golden pheasant tippet
Eye: Jungle cock nail
Topping: Golden pheasant crest
Head: Black

Notes: Barry created the streamer for his good friend and fellow angler Gray Lysechko. The fly has been a proven success with brown trout in the lakes Barry fishes. Barry dressed up this one with the added touch of golden pheasant crest in the topping and tail to frame out the wing. The olive and dun hackles in the wing combine to create a convincing minnow body colored streamer. Perfect for the piscivorous brown trout, bass and pike.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
