Tag: Silver tinsel
Tail: Black hackle fibers
Body: Silver tinsel
Belly: Yellow bucktail
Throat: Yellow hackle fibers
Wing: 6 Yellow hackles
Cheek: Jungle cock
Head: Black (optional orange band)
Notes: It's hard to surmise where the name for the pattern could have originated as Carrie didn't provide much in the way of notes on many of her creations. But if I were to go out on a limb, I would guess that the wing color may play a role in it. The All Orange is one of the first Carrie Stevens patterns I started tying when I began my love affair with the long hook. It is a simple streamer, but one that you can use to hone your streamer tying skills on.

Long story short
Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.
Long story longer
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
