Here we will be tying the fly Sallý by mister Pétur Steingrímsson. Sallý was one of the first patterns that Pétur made and devised back in the days few decades back. The fly is a great option for salmon fishing here in Iceland. The Sallý is a magic fly from that perspective that it's gonna catch you more than only salmon. Local brown trout and seatrout will also bite the Sallý fly. I made a wet fly pattern from these colours and will let you guys know how that will work out.

Hook: Ahrex H428
Thread: UNI 8/0 black.
Tag: UNI oval gold.
Butt: UNI-Floss Neon - Hot Red.
Tail: Same as the butt.
Rib: UNI oval gold.
Body: King blue floss.
Throat: Red and blue cock fibres mixed 50/50.
Wing: Red brown squirrel.
Head: ½ black, ½ red, coated with UV Solarez Bone Dry.
