Here we will be tying the first unnamed fly I have by my mentor and teacher, mr. Jón Sigurðsson. I got permission by his daughter to name the fly. The fly was made in about the year 2002-2003 since Jón caught a massive 12 lbs. seatrout on it in the summer of 2003. However the fly never got a name by him, and I prefer to just call it Unnamed #1 because I have few more flies that he made, never published and never gave a name. All of those flies work great but I don't wanna be making up names on the flies by a friend like Jón who passed long before his time. There was an interview with Jón in 2011 in an Icelandic fishing magazine called Veiðimaðurinn, there he published some flies that he had never published before. This fly in the video wasn't one of them. Anyway! This fly, Unnamed #1 is a great option for both stream and lake fishing and works excellent for seatrout and Arctic char. The fly is a simple to tie streamer pattern and totally worth keeping a few in your box when you go fishing. If the fly if from Jón Sigurðsson, you can count on it that it WILL work. He was indeed one of the best in the game.

Thread: Semperfli Classic Waxed 8/0 black.
Tail: Golden Pheasant tippet.
Rib: Semperfli 0,2mm silver wire.
Body: UNI Axxel pink.
Wing: Orange marabou.
Eyes: Bead-chain eyes, small.
Head: Black.
