In the pipeline

Many new articles are on the way to GFF

Even though the rate of publishing has been fairly slow the recent few months, there is no reason to worry: GFF is not dead and there is loads of new stuff on the way to these pages.

I have several new projects in the pipeline, and within the last few days I have been typing text and editing pictures for articles on several subjects:

  • Wading Jacket Blues - or My Perfect Wading Jacket. An ode to a jacket I have not yet found and considerations on the many jackets I have used... and dumped.
  • Going deep - tactics, flies and gear for fishing your flies deep. This article will probably wind up as a joint effort with GFF partner Bob Petti and maybe Steve Schweitzer.
  • Where the rainbow ends - a story about catching escaped sea farm rainbow. Every year this time of year sea farms here in Denmark loose thousands of fish, and we can catch them on the coasts.
  • Many is better than one - on small scale production fly tying. Again a subject that Bob P. has covered in his Nymph Project on these pages, and again something that might develop into a common project.
  • Large arbor reels - how large to be large? And why...? An attempt to cover this old and new phenomenon and be a bit analytical about it.
  • Buzzers - a major article by English Paul Slaney on that very British type of flies. Not all done from Paul's hands yet, but it will be a reference piece!

So, as you can see a lot is on the way. And I am not the only GFF partner who is trying to finish articles.

So fret not. New stuff will soon be added to GFF.

    The GFF money box

… I have a small favor to ask.

    Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

    Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
