Mayfly Emerger

Just as the season of big mayflies is about to start you can sometimes see trout and grayling feeding at the surface, yet they ignore the traditional mayfly dries. That's often because they're feeding on emerging insects. Times like these are the reason why you must have a mayfly emerger in your box! They simply tend to catch fish when no other pattern does.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
