The materials we used in the White Widow Trout Spey Fly can be swapped out for your favorite colors. We love greens, blacks, browns and whites for tying this pattern.
A simple, easy to tie and very effective fly for Rainbow Trout up here in Alaska. This trout spey fly is also effective for Great Lakes Trout and Steelhead.
Some of the best flies for skagit casting, especially for trout, are light weight and do not hold a lot of water.
Thank you so much for watching and Tight Lines!

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
