Summer is at its highest in the northern hemisphere right now, and in some places that means the peak of the fishing season, while other types of fishing slow down in the heat, and people use water for swimming rather than fishing.

To all those dreading with drought, wildfires, flooding and all that this planet can throw at us, I hope that everybody gets through the hardships safely and can return to normal life as soon as possible. I know that hope will not put out fires or clean out mud, but still...

Here on the Global FlyFisher things are ticking on as always and new material finds its way to the page with irregular intervals. Right now the pace isn't that bad, actually. Since the last newsletter several articles and a review has found their way to the front page. Of course there are a ton of new videos, which come out on YouTube and Vimeo in what seems to be an endless stream. I find the best ones and publish then in our video channel, saving you all the work, time and dread of having to watch hours of bad video to find the minutes of good stuff.

Apart from that it's business as usual: I have a bunch of things underway, and should you have a pattern, a story or some great pictures that you want to share, feel free to contact me. Simply replying to this mail with your suggestion will do the trick. I love getting new material from new contributors, but should you be an already featured author, you are still very welcome to submit more content. It will reach a large and very engaged audience, and make the site even better than it already is.
