It's amazing the amount of stuff that you amass after years of fly tying. It's also amazing that after all these years, the discipline still isn't there to tidy up up after each session.
I normally have a spare vise rigged up in case friends pop over to tie flies and shoot the breeze. I just wish I had a bigger table and more storage space/racks to organise all m stuff.

GFF Cribs
These are the tying cribs, man caves, secret dens, benches, fly tying stations of the Global FlyFisher visitors. These tyers have chosen to share their awesome tying corner with the rest of us.
You can upload pictures of your secret lair too. It just requires that you are registered and logged in.
Once you have added your crib and uploaded the pictures, we will approve and publish as soon as I have checked that everything is OK.

The birthplace of a lot of innovative fleye designs. Bob writes "Tying room is designed to hold my tools, hooks, eyes, TUFFLEYE, and LIMITED materials. I use a small box to hold materials I will need to do certain type FLEYE. You can see it on the table. Keeps a mess to a minimum. Some BUCKTAILS, feathers and flash are located in large drawers along the wall. Computer, tv and video equipment along wall also. Storeroom holds all the bulk of materials. Fishing equipment, bags, luggage, etc. coffee machine, little fridge (not in room yet), lots of books. BTW, forgot to mention rods along the ceiling and in slots along a wall and in hidden cubby holes." |

Finally the wood floor is completed on my tying cave, a lot of work done. Now is very clean and pretty but normal confusion will come back soon, as new creatures.... |

This is as clean as it ever is after some holiday break straightening up. I haven't started tying yet this winter - got a mild (or not so mild) case of tyer's block I need to work on this weekend - but the room is ready when I am. |
